PSALM 104:31, THE GLORY OF THE LORD SHALL ENDURE FOR EVER: THE LORD SHALL REJOICE IN HIS WORKS.

I am not sure what to say about these birds.  I know God created all for a purpose.  We have a male and female.  I did not notice them last year; however, I did notice their offspring.  I don't really care for them because this bird  does not build a nest for its egg.  They instead go to another bird's nest and remove one of the that birds' egg from the nest and insert their own.  The Cardinals raised one last year and the finches raised one the year before.  Neither of the offspring survived as the Cowbirds are not choosy about the nest that they deposit their egg.
I am not sure why the bird with the Cardinal did not survive but am pretty sure that the bird with the finches did not survive because they can not solely exist on seeds like the finches.  The finch parents only feed seed therefore; they did not make it.  The same may have been true for the Cardinals as we didn't offer the mealworms last year and until we did offer them, I only ever saw the Cardinals with seed in their mouth.  Sigh.
