We have had Mockingbirds around since spring 2018. We could hear them but not see them. Later, they would not come near the feeder but instead were stealing Essie's cherry tomatoes out of the garden. I then changed the seed slightly and we hung some CD's in the garden to dissuade them.

Later, we found one near the house but he would be out of range of pictures or keep turning around so we could only get his back. Finally, Abby was able to capture some really great, detailed pictures. Spring 2019, the mated pair had one fledgling.

The mated pair has continued to stay with us through 2019, having another fledge by the end of summer. As of late spring 2020, the fledge from last year returned this spring so right now we have three.

They both come every day along with the Jays. In fact, if I am late putting out the worms they will stand on the railing making noise until I come out. Later, when I open the door they will sit in the tree waiting for me to finish filling the feeders.

Spring and summer 2020 the Mockingbird pair had six fledges in three different broods. The first brood had 3 successful fledges. The second had one successful fledge and the last brood in August had two successful fledges. See below for a few pictures.
