This cute Orchard Oriole , in some areas is becoming more and more rare, visited near the feeder one day. I thought I saw a yellow blur briefly the day before and called Abby; but, we never saw a bird land.

Today she, the Orchard Oriole, visited the trees near the feeder several times. The first time CJ spotted but I missed the picture. I believe these birds are not known to frequent feeders; however, we do have some berries on the platform feeder, and if that doesn't work maybe she'll come to the Hummingbird Feeder.

We noticed how much straighter and "sharper," her beak was from the Baltimore Orioles that have been coming in the winter for a few years. As a note, on her return visits to the tree, CJ was really quick with the camera and took some of the pictures here.
