We had the pleasure of seeing a Red-Headed Woodpecker on several local birding trips but wondered why we had never seen them at the house. June 2019, one stopped by and returned several times over the course of about a week.

Unfortunately, he didn't stay the whole summer. July 2020 he returned. Abby said she thought she saw two. I thought one picture he had a twig in his beak. He was with us until the beginning of August 2020 and we haven't seen since.
